I had a lovely two-night stay, enjoying a comfortable bed and beautiful decor. The dinner was exceptional – both the ham, egg, and chips and the vegan curry were standout dishes. I would definitely return!

The Superior King Room at The Farmers Arms was impressive. I loved the spaciousness and comfort of the large bed. The en-suite bathroom featured a great shower, which made getting ready a pleasure. Cleanliness stood out. everything felt tidy upon arrival. Enjoyed sipping tea in the room, thanks to the kettle provided. The atmosphere of the pub had a lovely historic charm, and the staff were welcoming and attentive. Breakfast, however, had some hiccups. Pre-ordering the breakfast was a bit of a chore, resulting in some confusion over our meal. The dining menu also felt limited, particularly for someone who isn’t a fan of the heavy emphasis on Indian dishes in the evening. It affected my dining experience.

We had an exceptional time with a lovely terrace off our huge room and truly enjoyed the delicious vegan curry we ordered for dinner. It was great to unwind with both the cozy atmosphere and the selection of books to borrow. Just a heads up, breakfast could use some timing improvements, but overall, we had a fantastic stay! 😊

I had a nice time during my stay. The breakfast was really good. The staff was attentive and made sure I had everything I needed for a comfortable experience. I appreciated having a kettle in the room for my morning tea, which I enjoy as a tradition from home. The overall atmosphere felt welcoming.

There were some issues with room cleanliness. The carpet had stains that took away from the overall experience. I also missed having more choices on the dinner menu during my stay.

loved our stay at the farmers arms! the pub is real pretty, historic vibes everywhere. the staff were super welcoming and the food was amazin, especially the ham egg and chips. the room was real cozy and clean, with nice decor that kept the old stone walls visible. we enjoyed two great nights of peaceful sleep here.

Wish the breakfast pre-ordering was a bit easier. had some issues with our order. also, the steps to the bathroom might be tough for some peeps to navigate.

I really enjoyed my stay here. the atmosphere felt warm and inviting, and the food, especially the home-cooked Punjabi dishes, was fantastic. My room was large and comfortable, offering a cozy retreat after a long day. A little more attention to the bathroom's upkeep could enhance the overall experience.

The room was super comfy with a big bed that was just perfect for a great night's sleep. Plus, there was a cozy sofa and a TV, so we had plenty of space to relax. The bathroom was huge, with an awesome shower! Really enjoyed the outside courtyard as it was nice and quiet, perfect for chilling out. Just a bit bummed that breakfast was kinda basic.

I had a wonderful stay here where I enjoyed a lovely meal by a cosy fire and appreciated the impressive selection of drinks that truly made the evening special. I loved being just a short walk away from the Museum of Somerset and beautiful Barrington Hill Meadows, perfect for my weekend strolls.
